2018. Summer and Autumn.
September 2nd, 2018.
The partial collapse of one of my favourite trees.
Harvest (and the heatwave) continued.
A Red Arrows flyby on the way to displaying at the Biggin Hill airshow.
... and every heatwave ends in a deluge and a thunderstorm. This one was no exception.
Along with revisiting the usual spots, some new locations in the valley where explored. This included walking the entire length of the Darent Valley Path.
August 11th. 2018. The Darent Valley Path.
A heatwave, an early harvest, a thunderstorm. A combination of photographs using the Nikon and the converted Fuji infrared.
A walk with the Tamron SP 90mm F/2.8 Di MACRO 1:1. I was out listening for the Cuckoo which was heard the previous weekend after an absence of several years. This took me out of the village into the fields towards the farm.
It was quite a windy afternoon and this small beetle - possible a Cardinal Beetle - was clinging to a blade of grass.
Walks from Kemsing to the woods above Eynsford.
